PiE&MASH: Algebraic April

PiE&MASH is a monthly event that takes place at The Griffin, in Vauxhall. I did this month’s poster, using a mathematics exercise book I found last year.

One evening last summer, I hopped off the train to return home, and sitting on a wall was a full, math exercise book, and a mobile phone. I called a few recent numbers on the phone and a grateful man eventually greeted me with thanks and a prize of £10 for finding his phone. I asked him:

“Is this math exercise book yours too?

He looked at me rather puzzled and exclaimed:

“I swear that book isn’t mine!

Amazing math denial; Possible murder suspect; Free mathematics exercise book to use at my disposal! Thank you world!
