Despite my feelings on music competitions Son of Robot have gone a head an entered two and, like with most competitions, we need votes to make this work!

In other news, I’ve just started my dissertation project - this will churn out loads of animations, tests and stuff. There will be one animation that consolidates all the stuff that I’m covering into something nice a watchable. And now that I think of it, I’m going to rehack the website so it separates the tests and messing around from the REAL finished products.

One Minute Film Festival

My short, VideoGuitaring (which I do believe hasn’t been added yet on this site yet… hunt through the photo blog!!!), has been nominated, along side five other shorts, to win a prize at the One Minute Film Festival, Switzerland. Fingers crossed, I could… win something. That’d be first.

Anyway, all this excitement, I found out last minute and alas can’t make it

. I think I shall be making some special efforts next year

I found work. YAY!

I’m working an internship at a lovely web development company based in Camden for the summer (and possibly beyond)! HUGE YAYS!

Son of Robot are taking a break because we are all very poor at the moment. Gigs cost us money, simple really, huge unhappy smiley face It’s cool, we are going to be back in September with a brand new set! Don’t worry, we’ll still play the classics, but the new stuff is good. You’ll like it… we hope! We might do acoustic shows aswell… so long it’s woahbotised!

So, aswell as lots of work, my brain is bursting with ideas which I need to get into motion soon. Weekends shall be filled with epic paper, scissors, heat magazine and After Effects sessions - It’s going to be steamy. None of this quickies I pulled off during July last year! Patience is required!

Glad you could make it. The weather is sunny, hot… what more can you ask for? oh wait… what? A cribble.net overhaul? Sure, why the hell not!

So after a year (or two… or three) of trying to rebuild cribble.net, I finally got around to doing it. It wasn’t easy though, especially the photoyear… that thing was hard work converting over. But yeah, now this system (lovely WordPress) makes my life easier from now onwards. That means: easier to update+easier to upload content+less faffing=BETTER WEBSITE!

Enjoy the new website and all the snazzy sexy stuff it has to offer.

This was my final major project university. Handed this baby in today! It’s mostly made of recycled paper/card/envelopes/whatever (can you spot my bank statement in there?) and i just threw in some video, stop motion and… whatever i could physically do in there! Music by Son of Robot.
